Momentum

With only 6 weeks until we leave for SILA training down in Victoria (with the plan to fly out to Vanuatu shortly after we return to Sydney in July), everything around us feels to be building in momentum! Preparations for our commissioning are well underway (in under a week, already 100 of you have registered to attend!), the house is starting to be filled with packing boxes, and the count down is on.

But the momentum we are really excited about is the reopening of Talua in the coming weeks! After 12 months of closure and rebuilding after devastating Tropical Cyclone Harold, staff have now returned, and students are returning this week - Term 2 classes start in the weeks ahead!

Although we are disappointed to not be with them yet, we are excited to see the how God works in the lives of the Talua community this coming term. Pray with us, that the reopening reinvigorates staff and students to a wholehearted commitment to growing and serving in the Lord.
